Cornmeal the Rabbit (March 2023): challenged myself to design/ build a character and environment in under 2 weeks
using a sketch to compare proportions, I made a character from armature wire, epoxy putty, polymer clay, old acoustic foam and bandages
I dyed white polyester fur to the desired color and combed liquid latex through it to shape it. Ears were made with thin armature wire, felt and more of the fur
Pants sewn from felt
Striped sweater made from old fabric
Set build out of old cardboard boxes, cabinets painted to look like wood, countertops made from balsa wood
Stove made from cardboard and tape, faucet made from clay and stone
Kitchen decor is a combination of clay, paint, and found items
